Celebrating Long Service at Lake
At the Lake Awards 2025, held at Ardencote, we were proud to recognise 16 colleagues through our Long Service Awards, celebrating milestones of 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of dedication to the business.
Long service is about more than time. It reflects commitment, consistency, shared experience and the contribution people make over many years to help shape the business we are today. These milestones are an important part of Lake’s story, and it was a pleasure to celebrate them as part of an evening dedicated to recognition, connection and appreciation.
Recognising Commitment and Contribution
The Lake Awards 2025 brought colleagues together from across the business for an evening of celebration, with 18 awards presented across 11 categories. Alongside these awards, long service recognition held a special place in the event, highlighting the people whose loyalty, knowledge and continuity help form the foundation of Lake’s success.
Each long-service milestone is recognised with an experience-based award, offering recipients the chance to choose something memorable to enjoy. With values as £500 for 5 years of service, £1,000 for 10 years, £2,500 for 15 years and £5,000 for 20 years.
Why Long Service Matters
Long service awards are an important part of how Lake celebrates success. The recognition is an essential part of Lake’s culture, helping to acknowledge achievement, behaviours and to inspire others across the business. Long service sits naturally within that approach because it recognises not only what colleagues have achieved, but the steady contribution they continue to make over time - the foundation of the company’s success.
