Inspiring the Next Generation of Women in Science!
Dr Ann-Helen Lu proudly represented Lake Chemicals and Minerals at the Generation STEM event hosted at Yamazaki Mazak in Worcester on Wednesday 10th December 2025. This fantastic initiative brought together Year 9 girls from local schools who are excelling in STEM subjects to explore the incredible opportunities and career options that science, technology, engineering, and mathematics can offer.
Dr Lu shared her own journey in STEM, from academic research to her current role as Innovation Services Manager at Lake Chemicals and Minerals, where she drives cutting-edge projects in specialty chemicals and advanced materials. Her story is a powerful example of how a growth mindset, determination and passion can lead to a rewarding and impactful career.
