Lake strengthens water treatment support with new Technical Sales Engineer appointment
Lake Engineering Solutions has strengthened its support for the UK water treatment industry with the appointment of Mark Cresswell as Technical Sales Engineer.
Mark joins the business at an important stage in the continued development of technical sales and service support across water treatment markets for Lake Engineering Solutions. His role will support customers working across water treatment, wastewater, asset treatment and protection applications, where emissions to legal requirements, corrosion control, operational reliability and long-term asset performance are critical.
The appointment reflects the continued investment in customer-facing technical expertise of Lake Engineering Solutions. Mark will focus on developing beneficial customer relationships, understanding specific site and system requirements, and helping customers identify the right combination of technical products and specialist technologies and services.
This broader customer-led role means Mark’s work will not be limited to one product range. As part of wider water treatment offering from Lake Engineering Solutions, he will support customers across boilers, cooling water circuits, closed-loop systems, hydrotesting applications, asset preservation programmes and waste water treatment markets where emissions, corrosion protection and system reliability are important.
Working with specialist technologies, including Cortec® Corporation and C.H. Erbslöh GmbH & Co. KG the team combines practical product knowledge with application-led technical support to help customers manage corrosion risk, improve system reliability and waste streams and protect critical assets.
Specialist technologies include:
Cortec VpCI®-649 series versatile corrosion inhibitors combining contact and vapor phase technologies as well as anti-scalants for closed-loop systems.
Cortec VpCI®-609 series provides extended dry layup of boilers, heat exchangers and closed- and open-loop cooling systems
Cortec M640L high-temperature corrosion inhibition for water and glycol-based closed-loop systems, designed for heat exchange fluid, antifreeze and coolants.
Cortec Boiler Lizard® for the protection of metals during the dry layup of enclosed system boilers for up to 12 months
Cortec Cooling Loop Gator® developed for seasonal or short-term layup corrosion inhibition via multi-phase protection.
Cortec EcoLine® series a range of products developed to extend the life of machinery parts with a focus on environmental sustainability.
Plexon® heavy metal precipitants for the removal of dissolved metals from industrial wastewater.
Secused® polymeric flocculants for enhanced solids separation, clarification and sludge treatment.
Neosorb® mineral flocculants designed to improve contaminant removal and wastewater clarification processes.
Novocrack® liquid splitting agents for emulsion breaking and oil-water separation applications.
Novofloc® coagulation agents for the treatment of complex industrial wastewater streams.
CHE® Defoamer Range for the effective control of foam within wastewater treatment operations.
Alongside Dean Kenny, Corrosion Engineer and UK Business Manager, Mark will help customers assess their challenges, understand their perating environment and identify practical strategies for corrosion management, asset preservation and system protection.
